Plant Design Engineering Services for the production of electricity by direct combustion of virgin vegetable biomas
Description of the work
The project consisted on Plant Design Engineering Services for the production of electricy by virgin vegetable biomass combustion. The net electric power produced will be equal to approximately 14.8 MWe and the net yield of electricity generated will be 29.8%.
The plant will be capable of incinerating 17.3 t/h of biomass. The annual consumption of biomass will be approximately 138,400 tonnes.
The use of biomass for producing electricity allows to avoid the generation of greenhouse gases during the combustion process and therefore the project aligned itself with the objectives established in the Kyoto Protocol.ambiente s.c. SERVICES
- Project management of the consortium and technical staff
- Environmental impact assessment
- Atmospheric dispersion modeling
- Socio-economic impact study
- Landscape study
- Acoustic impact assessment
- Electromagnetic impact assessment
- Authorisation procedures (waste water, atmospheric emissions, electric power production)
Reducing greenhouse gases
Use of biomass permits avoidance of the generation of greenhouse gases on an overall global level, in the spirit of and in respect of the Kyoto Protocol.Related products documents:
Compatibility of the project with the planning and programming regulations in force; monographic study of the atmosphere, noise and electromagnetic impact; technical reports supporting the, authorisation application for atmospheric emissions and production of energy from renewable sources. -
